Opportunistic Achievement: Kill Crabtaur with an Obstacle Crash

Crabtaur must die by crashing into an obstacle. Steam condition A collision that leaves it alive does not meet the achievement’s stated condition.

The collision must cause the kill

Steam specifies killing Crabtaur by having it crash into an obstacle. Plan around that cause of death: attacking during its charge or merely making it touch terrain is not the stated goal.

The condition does not prescribe a starting Genetic, a particular stone attack or a precise health threshold. The approach below is planning advice based on the required killing blow, not a guaranteed sequence of damage values.

Set up the next charge

  1. Locate an obstacle and leave yourself a clear escape path before trying to align Crabtaur’s charge.
  2. When a charge is lined up with the obstacle, move clear. If the line is unsafe, reposition and try another charge instead of forcing the collision.
  3. If Crabtaur survives, the goal is still incomplete. Plan another collision and avoid letting normal attacks or ongoing damage take the final blow. Check the achievement after a crash kills it.

Keep the three boss goals separate

Ole! asks you to hit a charging Crabtaur. Bullseye asks for a regular boss killed with a stone. Neither action alone proves an obstacle-caused kill for Opportunistic.

Choose movement for the collision setup

The useful part of a Crabtaur route here is its escape plan. Extra damage is secondary once a collision can provide the finishing blow: a stronger attack that kills the boss first works against this particular objective. A stone-finishing route serves Bullseye, whereas this goal requires an obstacle-caused death. Keep those plans separate during the same boss encounter. Does any collision with an obstacle count?

Must I use the Opportunistic Genetic?
