Choose the guide for your actual setup
Start with PC stores and cloud play if your question is where to obtain the game. That guide records the Steam, Epic Games Store and Stove listings and the August 2 GeForce NOW announcement. Cloud streaming answers a different question from installing a native edition: the service controls supported devices, regions, membership and store linking. A device capable of opening a cloud stream does not, by itself, establish a separate release for that device.
For a game already installed on a handheld, use the Steam Deck and Steam Machine guide. Its September 13 Steam Machine announcement, Steam Deck launch-resolution fix and later desktop-mode discussion concern different situations. Match the named device and launch mode before trying a remedy. A compatibility label for one machine does not resolve every display or performance report on another.
Separate display, input and performance problems
The display guide distinguishes black bars, stretching, clipped interface elements and stutter. These symptoms are useful descriptions, not interchangeable names for one fault. Record the device, operating system, game version, launch mode and selected resolution before comparing reports. Include a screenshot of the actual display problem so a reply can address what is visible.
The Deck guide preserves an October 22 developer launch-option remedy for an extremely small image in desktop mode. That remedy is not presented as a general fix for black bars or stutter. Likewise, the 1.2.1 controller fixes address Steam Input, navigation and multiple connected gamepads. They do not establish that an unrelated performance complaint has been solved. Follow the matching symptom to its source rather than applying every setting mentioned in a discussion.
Check what an edition or feature actually includes
The Supporter Pack guide lists four Ghost Crab-inspired cosmetics for Exoskeleton, Pistol Pincer, Pincer and More Eyes. The store describes optional cosmetic support content requiring the base game; these items are not a survival upgrade or an achievement route. Read that distinction before choosing a purchase for a gameplay goal.
The multiplayer guide separates the dated publisher response from community mod descriptions. An unofficial shared-screen mod is not a statement of built-in online play, cross-play or multiplayer progression. Check the date and original announcement when comparing a later claim.
