Challenges
Choose the challenge whose rules you want to understand. Compare its restrictions and documented changes before choosing a route.
The official October 16 update reports five challenge metrics: Chaos Theory has the highest win percentage at 50.3% (45,451 wins from 90,322 attempts); Boss Rush has the most attempts at 857,848; Dry Age has the most winning runs at 251,675; Wild Wild World has the fewest player deaths at 83,643; and Harmless has the most wins by surviving at 37,777.
These figures answer different questions. The post does not give attempt totals for Dry Age, Wild Wild World or Harmless, a shared denominator for every metric, or the unlock and selection context behind each group of attempts. Do not turn the five callouts into an easiest-to-hardest ranking or a personal success-rate forecast. Open the relevant challenge below and plan around its actual rule.
Read the clues on Amnesia’s hidden offers, reassess your options after each reveal, and distinguish the Carcinisation marker from a complete evolution description.
Plan around random odd-numbered evolutions. Use the choices you retain to address the gaps in your actual abilities, and check the listed Genetic restrictions before starting.
Unintelligent Design makes evolution acquisition random. Compare the choices players report retaining and the limits of Simple, Minimalist and Spawn of Chaos examples.
Plan around Dry Age’s adaptation restrictions and compare two documented results. Their times, damage totals and points of interest describe individual wins, not a required route.
Plan shelter, movement and food for Ice Age. Compare named players’ experiences without treating a single build report as a proven route.
Judge the space around giant creatures before committing to food or a fight. Check the Size restriction for Spawn of Chaos and avoid inferring a defensive bonus from appearance.
Use enemy size as a warning in Chaos Theory. Understand the documented change to total stats, then judge pursuit and escape space before choosing a fight.
Harmless removes attack slots. Plan food access and survival, and distinguish a challenge victory from Dove or Zen achievement attempts.
Compare Wounded player routes and the 1.1 healing correction before choosing how to survive.
Frenzy shortens active cooldowns for both sides. Prepare for faster enemy attacks and distinguish recorded player experiences from unverified no-damage claims.
Compare the official Boss Rush changes with attributed player experiences. Plan movement and food around successive encounters, and read low-damage result cards within their limits.
Prepare for roaming bosses, compare attributed food and ally tactics, and read the self-reported 18:13 and 17:54 clears without treating either screenshot as a verified world record.
These conditions come from Steam’s public achievement list. They describe completion goals, not the individual challenge rules shown above.
