Crabtaur
Review charge positioning and the available escape lane. Ole! requires hitting during the charge; Opportunistic instead requires the obstacle collision itself to cause Crabtaur’s death.
Bosses
Choose an encounter by name, then identify what the attempt needs: safer movement, an opening for damage, access to recovery or a particular finishing blow. The regular-boss guide provides that starting comparison before the individual pages address charge lanes, obstacles, flooded terrain and arena clutter. Achievement requirements remain separate from simply surviving the fight. Ole! needs a hit during Crabtaur’s charge, Opportunistic needs an obstacle-caused death, and final-boss goals can require either a fast kill or a Cataclysm finish. The current notes preserve named patch changes and player-report limits rather than turning one successful route into a guaranteed sequence.
Diagnose the failed encounter through movement, escape space, recovery and useful damage windows. More damage does not replace a path to food or a safe retreat.

Compare a kill in under fifteen seconds, a Cataclysm finish and whole-run damage restrictions. Each objective needs a different final event, not merely survival.

Plan around egg sacs that can obstruct an exit. For Rebellious, a charmed Crawlee must survive to deliver the finishing blow rather than another damage source.
Prepare reach, repositioning and a safe recovery route before flooded terrain complicates the fight. The separate Aquaconda++ player report retains its mode and Pressure context.
Find Crabaroo under either spelling and compare open ground with obstructed retreat lanes. Prepare spacing before another hit instead of treating the movement pattern in isolation.
Read the roll-lane and reset-position advice alongside player reports about cover. Those reports do not establish a universal shield percentage or an exact hitbox formula.

These are separate achievement conditions. Choose the relevant guide before combining a combat plan with a collection or no-damage attempt.
The regular-boss guide separates four common problems: movement was unavailable, the escape lane closed, recovery was unsafe, or too little damage landed during a usable opening. Start with the event that ended your attempt. More damage alone does not restore a blocked route to food, and more health does not create space to dodge. Choose the next guide by that failure rather than by a build name.
Aquaconda puts terrain movement at the center of the decision. Its guide asks you to prepare reach, repositioning and a safe recovery path before a flooded arena makes those choices harder. Crabaroo, also searched as Krabaroo, is a spacing comparison: open ground and a clear retreat lane matter when terrain and other animals make the same movement pattern harder to avoid.
For Clawdia, inspect the route through the arena as well as the boss. Egg sacs can obstruct an exit, while a Rebellious attempt also needs the charmed Crawlee to survive and deliver the finish. The guide distinguishes clearing a dangerous obstruction from chasing every egg. Its Version 1.2 note about egg spawning is a patch boundary, not proof that clutter no longer matters.
Shellephant directs attention to roll lanes and places to reset between attacks. Its player discussions describe circling landmarks and using cover; they do not establish a universal shield percentage or an exact hitbox formula. For Crabtaur, decide whether the goal is a charge-window hit or a fatal obstacle collision before spending the boss's remaining health. Those two achievement plans require different finishing events.
The final-boss guide compares a kill in less than fifteen seconds, a Cataclysm finish, and whole-run damage restrictions. These objectives are not interchangeable tests of a strong build. Waiting for the event does not serve a fast-kill attempt; dealing the finishing blow yourself does not serve the Cataclysm condition.
For Zen, finishing with recovered health does not erase damage already taken. Official 1.1 notes also make meteor damage disqualifying. Check passive effects and earlier encounters before judging only the last fight. After an unsuccessful unlock, compare the result screen, game version, mode and exact condition. A clip of surviving the boss cannot by itself establish a whole-run damage record or the source of the final hit.
