Reported session

Visc reports reaching six minutes in Extinction 12, then letting the character die. They name Projectile Tongue with Whiplash, about 500% Feeding Speed, nearly 4,000 damage per hit and well over 50,000 total damage. These are reported approximations, excluded from exact damage rankings.

Mechanic and achievement context

  1. The official Version 1.2 notes say Whiplash increases Projectile Tongue firing speed and multiplies its damage by Feeding Speed. This explains the mechanic; it does not verify this run’s damage or identify its game version.
  2. Visc says the 500-damage hit and the 35,000- and 50,000-total-damage achievements remained locked. On August 26, 2026, SecretModeLiam, marked as a developer in the thread, replied that these achievements require normal mode rather than endless mode and advised checking the Codex.
  3. For these achievements, check the current Codex mode requirement before entering endless mode. This reply does not establish a rule for every achievement.

Evidence notes
