Practical use
Check the current card before planning a mouth-slot combination. If it excludes another option, compare that loss with your equipped attack and feeding tools; do not infer a branching unlock solely from the name.
Whiskers: version changes and cooldown
Should I count the active Whiskers bonus while it is on cooldown?
The June 25, 2026 patch also fixed Whiskers and Sprint affecting base speed while on cooldown. Official 1.1 notes Compare the active bonus with ordinary movement between uses; do not budget the active effect as permanent speed.
These patch notes do not prove that Snout excludes Beak, Trunk, or any other specific choice. Check the current card before planning around an exclusion.

What unlocks the Beeware’s Snout cosmetic?
The official 1.2 notes require eating 30 Poisonous Mushrooms for Poisonous Palette and award the Beeware’s Snout cosmetic for completing it. Official 1.2 notes
The reward name does not add an equipped-Snout requirement to that published condition. It also gives no new value for Whiskers or a list of Evolutions that can share a mouth-related slot. Keep the collection objective separate from the movement effect and compatibility question discussed above.
