Everything is Crab Bruter Achievement Guide

Deal 35,000 damage in a single run. Steam condition

Bruter achievement quick answer

Bruter raises the same total-damage route to 35,000; it still does not ask for a 35,000-damage single hit.

Verify the Codex mode tag before the attempt. Extinction numbers do not repair a Pressure-runs total after the mode transition.

Use one repeatable damage family with enough AoE and enemy access instead of splitting upgrades across several unfinished attacks.

Count one run’s damage, not one attack

The 35,000 target is cumulative damage in a single run. The Physical route and Body Slam route are relevant because they organize repeated damage around a coherent attack plan. Their names do not guarantee the total, and a powerful final hit does not show how much damage came before it. Steam achievement condition

A developer reply to Visc specifically groups the 35,000 and 50,000 total-damage goals with the 500 single-hit goal as normal-mode achievements. The player had reported much higher damage after continuing into Extinction. The mode boundary, rather than a larger endless total, explains why those numbers were insufficient evidence of an unlock. SecretModeLiam’s developer reply

Do not combine the damage totals of separate attempts or silently include a later endless segment. The first would abandon the single-run condition; the second would ignore the developer’s mode qualification. Choosing additional enemies and attack opportunities is useful planning only within the eligible attempt. Steam achievement condition SecretModeLiam’s developer reply

FAQ

Do I need a 35,000-damage hit?

No. Bruter names total damage in one run. Ultrabonk is the separate single-hit achievement. Treating the larger number as one attack would change the objective and could lead you to abandon useful repeated damage. Steam achievement condition

Can an endless total finish a Pressure attempt that was short?

The reviewed developer reply says these damage achievements require normal mode rather than endless mode. A higher number reached after that transition does not remove the stated eligibility restriction. SecretModeLiam’s developer reply

Turn a total-damage target into repeatable encounters

  1. In the separate Brutest discussion, Path_of_Circles suggests Body Slam or Trunk with Size and attack-area increases, and The420elephant suggests Social abilities to bring targets closer. Those ideas address opportunities to hit groups, which can also inform a lower total-damage target. They remain player suggestions for planning; neither reply documents a Bruter clear or supplies a fixed number of enemies that must be defeated. Brutest player route discussion

  2. After choosing an attack, compare why the next group is not taking damage: insufficient reach, targets outside its area, or time spent repositioning. Adding more of a scaling stat does not itself solve a missed opportunity to connect. Use the suggested area or gathering tools only when they address that specific limitation, and keep the eligible normal-run boundary in view while deciding whether another detour is worthwhile.
