Practical use
- Open the specific achievement in the in-game Codex before routing around a screenshot or damage number.
- Keep the counters separate: Brute, Bruter, and Brutest use total run damage, while Ultrabonk uses the maximum eligible single hit.
- If the Codex entry says Pressure runs, the credit must happen before Extinction or Endless rather than after the transition.
- A post-1.2 Pressure 12 run reached Extinction 12 with Whiplash, about 500% Feeding Speed, roughly 4,000 per hit, and more than 50,000 total damage, but the player reports that the 500-hit, 35,000-total, and 50,000-total achievements did not unlock after the transition. Treat this as fresh evidence for completing Pressure-tagged thresholds before choosing Endless, not as proof that Projectile Tongue is broken.
- If the entry explicitly says Extinction or Challenges, those modes can award the achievement there.
- Recent Brute-line, Ultrabonk, and It was a dinosaur confusion all point back to the same first check: current patch version plus the exact Codex mode tag.
- When reporting a suspected bug, keep the Codex requirement, the end screen, and the relevant total-damage, max-hit, or boss screenshot together.
