Distinguish a movement buff from a cooldown fault
The same update increased the Speed buff from Snout’s Whiskers, without publishing the new amount in that note. This identifies a movement-related choice worth reading in the current run, but it does not establish how many selections bring an arbitrary starting value to 12. Compare the offered effect and resulting character value instead of borrowing an unsupported fixed bonus from a guide. Official 1.1 notes
Version 1.1 also fixed Whiskers and Sprint disrupting the player’s base speed while on cooldown. Do not interpret an old cooldown-related slowdown as a current intended cost, or assume that triggering the ability alone satisfies the stat achievement. The relevant comparison is the actual Speed reading and ability state, with the patch’s correction kept separate from the ability’s active movement effect. If movement still feels slow, identify whether the observation concerns the character stat, a movement ability’s cooldown or the terrain being crossed. These are different measurements. Only the stated Speed threshold answers this achievement; a control or terrain problem can still need attention even when the number is high. The notes provide no universal timed course or travel-distance test for proving Speed 12. Official 1.1 notes Steam achievement condition
