Clawdia Guide

Clawdia is a movement, clutter, and damage-uptime check. High-pressure routes need a plan for the claw chain, egg sacs, webs, and a safe recovery point before the arena closes.

Answer first

Clawdia is a movement, clutter, and damage-uptime check. High-pressure routes need a plan for the claw chain, egg sacs, webs, and a safe recovery point before the arena closes.

Run checklist

  1. Build charm or a personal damage plan before the boss instead of trying to invent it in the arena.
  2. If the goal involves a charmed Crawlee, protect the ally path and avoid incidental effects that kill the boss too early.
  3. On high pressures, once the first claw commits, pre-move counter-clockwise for the follow-up left-right pattern instead of reacting late in place.
  4. Version 1.2 stops Clawdia from spawning eggs while performing other attacks, but unattended egg sacs can still turn the arena into a body-blocking swarm.
  5. A fresh Pressure 20 discussion recommends saving an Oasis or Hot Spring for an instant recovery window and protecting it from the Bramble until the fight becomes dangerous.
  6. Projectile Tongue is a strong 1.2 answer because the first target hit is stunned. Use the opening to damage Clawdia or clear a dangerous egg sac; repeated boss stuns lose value as resistance rises.
  7. Do not chase every egg. If the build has enough area, kite Clawdia across egg sacs so the same attack hits both; otherwise clear only the sacs that close the escape lane.
  8. If body size keeps turning the follow-up pattern into a wall, fix spacing and movement before adding more size or greed.
