The author’s dated route

1. The author recommends Precocious and restarting if Ruminant is absent from the first level’s choices. They describe drafting Prey evolutions for levels, including Forager or Fungoid, and later branching through Legs and Wings.
2. Their route looks for Burrow at level 3 and high rarity, alongside dodge, small size, speed, plating and eating speed; Hibernation is optional. These generic stat priorities do not identify exact Smol, Elusive or Plated card selections.
3. The guide excludes Aquaconda because the author says its arrival removes the land used for more burrows. Their setup stays around one grass patch and creates a chain of holes, using them to escape attention or wait out poison.
4. For bosses, the author describes evading and briefly sheltering in burrows, preserving the holes for Krabken. In the meteor phase they alternate burrows and dashes. These are May 2026 player recommendations, not a current-version guarantee.
