Everything is Crab Endless Guide: Pressure 10 Unlock and Extinction

Endless unlocks at Pressure 10 and currently runs only on Pressure 10-20; this guide explains the entry gate, lower-pressure limit, Extinction scaling, and Version 1.2 saves.

Practical use

  1. Endless currently becomes playable only from a Pressure 10-or-higher win screen; the button sits immediately left of Home and Play Again and is disabled below Pressure 10.
  2. Unlocking Endless does not open Pressure 0-9. A public developer reply says Pressure 10 introduces key balance rules used by Endless and that lower-pressure Endless did not feel good in testing; Sandbox feedback is being watched, but no Sandbox mode is confirmed as of September 1, 2026.
  3. Version 1.2 mid-run saves are live for Endless, Challenges, and regular Pressure Runs. One slot records location, stats, evolutions, and nearby creatures; another save or a new run overwrites it, and selection screens cannot be saved.
  4. Treat the first Endless transition as a documentation checkpoint: record the build, food engine, POI routing, and boss answer before the run gets noisy.
  5. Current community evidence supports Toxic Sequestration, Primal Spur, Training Stoner, Max-HP Body Slam, and the new Projectile Tongue/Jaws/Moulting shell as deep-scaling families.
  6. An August 14 screenshot adds a Version 1.2 benchmark at level 279 and Extinction 7 with 999 HP, 476 Plating, 75% Dodge, and several utility caps; the player's 12,000–14,000 hit range remains approximate.
  7. A newer August 26 Pressure 15 result reached Extinction 8 at level 276 with 999 HP and 578,977 total damage, then died to a single frog hit even while Ability was approaching 1,000. Use it as a concrete warning that capped survivability can lose the late scaling race before damage does.
  8. Poison routes have a practical slot warning: Snout conflicts with Beak and Leech, so Poisonous Saliva plus Spit or Jaws can be a cleaner shell.
  9. By EX5 and beyond, survival usually comes from repeatable repair tools such as POIs, food automation, movement, dodge, heat adaptation, or a finished damage shell.
  10. Impervious-style delayed damage may appear as self damage in end screens, so record the exact defensive package before calling a run bugged.
  11. Treat community numbers as patch-sensitive snapshots, especially when they come from screenshots rather than full result cards.

Can Endless run below Pressure 10?No. First beat Pressure 10; after that, Endless still starts only from Pressure 10-20 victory screens.Reading unlocked as available on Pressure 0-9. The team is watching Sandbox feedback, but has not confirmed that mode.
Right after a Pressure 10 clear turns into EndlessDocument why the run can keep going: food, movement, one real damage engine, and which POIs actually repair the route.Mistaking early survival for an automatic scaling snowball.
Around EX5Check whether recovery is repeatable through POIs, mushrooms, adaptation, food lines, or safe repositioning.Assuming the next level-up will naturally fix a broken shell.
EX10 and beyondThink in one-shot management terms: size, dodge, heat zones, boss windows, and sustain damage.Reading only the peak damage screenshot and ignoring entry, food, or reset lines.

Site Records Worth Comparing

These documented records already live in the run database and make the Endless question more concrete than a generic difficulty warning.

What To Record

  1. A public developer explanation says Pressure 10 adds key balance rules used by Endless and lower-pressure versions did not feel good in testing; as of September 1, 2026, neither lower-pressure Endless nor Sandbox is confirmed.
  2. Start with genetics, pressure, and challenge state, then write down the pieces that actually kept the run alive.
  3. If the route stabilized through POIs, mushrooms, Burrow chains, or one parking spot on the map, record that trigger instead of only the final damage number.
  4. Separate absurd screenshots into repeatable route, high-roll highlight, or patch-sensitive sample before using them as advice.
