The July 8, 2026 version 1.1.2 hotfix addresses It was a dinosaur failing to unlock. It is a narrow achievement fix, not a new set of combat rules.

  1. The official July 8 announcement identifies one fix: an issue that prevented the It was a dinosaur achievement from unlocking.
  2. Steam describes the achievement condition as having the final boss die to the Cataclysm event. The hotfix announcement repairs unlocking; it does not announce a replacement condition.
  3. If an older attempt met that condition but failed to award the achievement, compare its game version with this fix before changing your route. The announcement does not say that old attempts are credited retroactively.
