Everything is Crab Social Pack Build Guide

A broader Gregarious route that uses allies, Pack, and Social scaling as support while Darwin keeps enough personal power to finish fights. Recent June and July 2026 player proof also shows a full-Social shell can clear Pressure 20.

Every build can fail if it ignores food economy, movement, or boss timing. Use the linked evolution pages to patch the missing part.

Social build quick answer

Social is a route around allies, charm, Pack value, and safer pickup timing. It still needs Darwin to survive boss windows, so do not treat Social as a replacement for movement or one personal damage plan.

A fresh June 9 Steam result now gives this page a Pressure 20 proof case for a full-Social shell, but the takeaway is still the same: ally pressure works only when food, movement, and personal cleanup are already solved.

Use this page when the search is social, charm, Frens, Rebellious, Scavenger, Tail Wag, or ally-based routing.

Opening checks

  1. Before the first boss, have at least two of food, movement, and mistake budget.
  2. If the core pieces do not appear, stay alive with a conservative shell.
  3. Spend mutagen on the current bottleneck before chasing perfect build identity.

Route phases

  1. Take Gregarious pieces when the run already has food and movement under control.
  2. Use Pack and Alpha to turn Social into pressure, not just a number on the sheet.
  3. If the goal is Frens, protect ally count first; if the goal is a normal clear, use allies as pressure relief while Darwin keeps a real win condition.
  4. June Steam proof and a fresh mid-July Reddit shell now point to the same rule: full Social can clear Pressure 20, but the safer live version still stacks speed, senses, passive food value, and boss-safe movement instead of relying on allies alone.
  5. Patch boss damage with Claws, Spit, Pistol Pincer, or another personal attack.
  6. If allies keep dying, pivot to Beginner First Clear or Charm Swarm instead of doubling down blindly.

Pivot rules

  1. If two level-ups in a row miss the core pieces, pivot toward the stat line already showing up.
  2. When food collapses, pause damage greed and repair progress, storage, or safe foraging.
  3. When boss damage lags, upgrade one main attack instead of spreading mutagen across every button.

Stat priority

  • Social
  • Max HP
  • Movement
  • Backup damage

Common mistakes

  1. Building Social while Darwin has no personal survival.
  2. Chasing ally count during a boss wall.
  3. Skipping food economy because allies look strong early.
