Branching Passive
Adds ability, physical, and feeding distance.
Mixed attack bonuses are useful only if the equipped attacks use them. Compare the feeding-distance benefit with your food access, and do not treat this branch as a replacement for a movement skill.
CecilHorns and TazunaHayakawa’s guide, updated in June, lists level 3 Arms with +6 Feeding Distance, +6 Physical and +6 Ability. This is a dated player-guide example, not a verified table for every current level. It illustrates why the branch can support both attack stats while extending food reach; it does not add a Speed bonus. CecilHorns / TazunaHayakawa · June guide
The official 1.2.1 hotfix repaired simultaneous collection of a Branching fruit and a regular level-up: the player should receive a Branching Evolution. That explains a missing branching reward in an older run, but it does not guarantee Arms as the offered branch. Separate receiving the correct kind of reward from getting the particular branch you want. Official 1.2.1 hotfix
Plan a Stoner attack around ammunition and throwing space, or prepare a specific stone achievement. Bullseye, Mountain Man, Ole! and Opportunistic have different finishing conditions.
Read guideList the arm-linked options you intend to pursue before valuing the unlock path. Speed and Ability may help immediately, but a future Jet plan also needs its Secretion prerequisite.
Read guideUse the reach to attack from a position you can leave safely. Its feeding benefit is a separate reason to choose it; compare Ability investment with the attack you would replace.
Read guide: Added the June player-guide level-three example and the official simultaneous Branching-fruit fix, separating historical flat stat values from a current upgrade table and a guaranteed Arms offer.
