Route purpose
A utility route for stone kills, hybrid scaling, Crabtaur mechanics, and boss-specific achievement planning, with extra value when Stoner enters boss fights with stones already prepared.
Every build can fail if it ignores food economy, movement, or boss timing. Use the linked evolution pages to patch the missing part.
Bullseye and Opportunistic quick answer
Stone and Crabtaur goals are setup routes. Bullseye needs a regular boss stone kill; Opportunistic needs Crabtaur to crash into terrain.
A June 6, 2026 developer reply says Stoner can be one of the strongest damage options in the game when setup correctly, with Bullseye named as a natural pairing, so treat stone stock and arena pacing as part of the build.
The June 9 controller-feedback thread still matters: if aiming Stoner feels awkward, slow the fight down and preserve a clean throw window instead of forcing a last-second panic shot.
Late-June live player proof now matters more than the old teaser alone: one Stoner specialist says Bullseye or Chosen turns the route into a Pressure 12-worthy shell, and another post says Trunk into Stoner feels far better after 1.1 on Steam Deck.
Solve movement and arena control before damage so the achievement setup does not collapse into a normal kill.
