Everything is Crab Pressure Guide: Pressure 10, Pressure 20, Extinction

Pressure 10 is where builds need both a win condition and a mistake budget.

Pressure 10: the first-clear reward and the next decision

Version 1.2 makes the first Pressure 10 victory unlock Spinnerets. This is a three-level Epic Evolution that prevents slowing from Clawdia’s cobwebs. Treat that as a reward for completing the milestone: a first-clear plan cannot assume the reward is already unlocked. Cobweb-slow immunity also does not establish immunity to Clawdia’s damage or remove every positioning problem in the encounter. Official patch notes

Pressure 10 is therefore useful both as a clear goal and as a point to inspect your available tools. Before starting, check the selected Pressure, starting Genetic and current unlocks. A published build can explain useful combinations, but an unavailable prerequisite leaves a gap that the guide’s final build cannot solve for this attempt.

Build a route from the options you actually receive

  1. Read the starting area before choosing a food detour. The 1.1 notes changed random starting biomes from Pressure 6 onward to reduce extended starts in sand or snow; they do not promise a particular Pressure 10 spawn. A route that assumes grass immediately needs an alternative when the actual start differs. Official patch notes
  2. Identify why a pickup is unsafe. If enemies occupy the approach, decide how to enter and leave before adding a bonus to food value. If the approach is clear but feeding takes too long, compare that bottleneck with the effect actually offered.
  3. Choose the attack you can use consistently. Read its named scaling stat and its positioning needs, then compare support for that attack with taking a different one. A second damage system is only useful if you can support and operate it; an impressive final-build description does not supply the missing choices.
  4. Before each boss, identify an exit and the action you intend to use during an opening. More health can allow another mistake, but it does not tell you where to move. A mobility choice similarly does not explain how you will finish a damage-dependent objective.
  5. After a failed attempt, name the first unrecovered problem: missed food, blocked movement, an attack that could not connect, or an unavailable prerequisite. Change the relevant choice on the next attempt. Keeping the other decisions comparable makes the difference easier to interpret.

What changes when planning beyond Pressure 10?

The official 1.1 notes change level-up health gain from Pressure 15 onward: the earlier one HP per level becomes two HP per three levels. A plan copied from Pressure 10 should not assume the same health growth later. This is a dated balance rule, not a measurement of your build’s total health or a guarantee that any particular defensive combination will survive Pressure 20. Official patch notes

Keep regular Pressure progression separate from a later Endless Extinction segment when describing a result. The 1.1 notes changed the Extinction result time to report segment time rather than progress time. A long continuation or a screenshot of a later segment does not by itself establish a specific achievement’s mode eligibility. Official patch notes

FAQ

Does Spinnerets make the whole Clawdia fight safe?

The cited effect prevents cobweb slowing. It does not say that eggs, contact or every other damage source become harmless. Apply the protection to the named hazard, then keep evaluating movement and damage separately. Official patch notes

Must I finish the attempt in one sitting?

Version 1.2 added mid-run saves to regular Pressure runs, Challenges and Endless. Use the game’s save-and-resume flow when available; the feature does not turn restarting a new run into resuming the same one. Check the resumed mode and progress before continuing a specific milestone attempt. Official patch notes

Is there a required card order for Pressure 10?

The milestone rewards above do not establish one. These decision steps help compare the offers you receive; they are not a recorded winning sequence. Use the exact starting restrictions, available choices and failure point to decide which part of a build example is applicable.

Update history

: Added versioned Pressure rewards and five planning steps. Distinguished the first Spinnerets unlock from using it during a run, later health progression from Pressure 10, and Extinction segment time from regular progress.
