Does the Ghost Crab appearance change Pistol Pincer’s role?
The launch Supporter Pack includes Ghost Crab appearances for Pistol Pincer, Pincer, Exoskeleton and More Eyes. Its announcement explicitly says the visual items do not alter gameplay or progression. Official launch announcement
Choose the appearance independently of the Ultimate slot and the stat investment supporting the hit. A cosmetic purchase does not turn the Ultimate into an Attack or establish that it can be equipped beside Moulting.
What would confirm the proposed Moulting combination?
Look for an actual category change in the game or a release note naming it. Dolomite83’s request explains the desired combination, but contains no successful run demonstrating it. Knockback in a reported Krabken fight
R3sistance’s June 28 Wounded completion identifies Pistol Pincer’s knockback as useful against Krabken. The reported run had roughly 30–40 Ability and 80% Damage; those are the player’s build stats, not Pistol Pincer’s damage coefficient or a minimum requirement.
