Version 1.1 added Condor’s Wings as the cosmetic reward for Challenger 6. Official 1.1 notes
Judge the terrain benefit on the ground your route actually crosses. If terrain is already manageable, compare another way to gain speed; neither benefit substitutes for an attack plan when the boss arrives.
The 1.1 reward is specifically Condor’s Wings, a cosmetic. Read it as an appearance reward rather than a new action button. The passive Wings entry still needs to be judged by its listed terrain adaptation and speed effects.
Identify the obstacle: repeated slow travel across the route, or a particular attack you need to escape. Passive movement benefits and an actively timed escape answer different needs. Compare what you will use during the next dangerous crossing, while keeping enough of the build for the encounter at the end of that route.
CecilHorns and TazunaHayakawa’s June guide records level 1 Wings as +80% Terrain Adaptation and +1 Speed. Those are two different stats: the terrain value is not an 80% general movement-speed increase. Treat the figures as a historical player-guide example; they do not establish the rest of the upgrade table or the current Glide cooldown. CecilHorns / TazunaHayakawa · June guide
Speed, terrain adaptation, Points of Interest chaining, and collection routing for players farming map value rather than only boss damage.

Read guideUse ordinary movement speed to connect safe positions between attack windows. If a single obstacle or encirclement is what ends runs, compare a movement skill that directly solves that crossing.
Read guideChoose a path through useful, reachable points of interest. A discovery reward is less valuable when the detour consumes the food or health needed to finish the next encounter.
Read guide: Added a dated level-one Wings example from the June player guide, distinguishing Terrain Adaptation from Speed and leaving later upgrade values and Glide cooldown unconfirmed.
